Join the ranks of the legendary 95th Rifles.
In The 95th, you play as a Rifleman fighting your way through the Continental Campaign against Napoleon Bonaparte. Face waves of enemies with your Baker rifle and saber, duel with officers, and earn promotions in this crank-controlled arcade shooter.
Manual of Arms (Controls)
Mastering the rhythm of the reload is the key to survival.
1. Load Your Weapon Press (B) to bite your paper cartridge.

2. Ram the Charge Turn the Crank Clockwise (Forward) to tamp the powder and bullet down the barrel.

3. Make Ready Turn the Crank Counter-Clockwise (Backward) to cock the mechanism.

4. Fire Use the D-Pad to move and aim your rifle, then press (A) to fire.

Combat Tactics
Hold Your Fire Wait until you see the "whites of their eyes." Hitting enemies at close range rewards you with additional points—but don't let them get too close!

Desperate Measures If enemies breach your line, you can draw your saber to defeat them instantly or remove one health bar by pressing (A) when you are not aiming/firing.
- Warning: You have limited saber charges. Use your swings wisely and defeat enemies with your rifle to gain them back.

The Campaign
Survive the Onslaught Make your way through five increasingly difficult waves of infantry and cavalry.

Face the Enemy Command At the end of each stage, you must duel unique Bosses.

Rise Through the Ranks Defeat 5 waves to earn a Promotion. Promotions grant you rank upgrades (from Rifleman to Chosen Man, Sergeant, and Officer) and gameplay bonuses.

Endless War Once promoted, begin a progressively tougher loop to climb the ranks and secure your legacy.
Earn the High Score Do you have what it takes to top the leaderboard?

Disclaimer: I am not a game developer or artist. I am someone who had an idea for a game. I spent considerable time creating every aspect of this game, debugging, adjusting, compiling and testing. I used generative ai to assist me in translating my images to pixels and to assist in coding. As I learn more about each of these skills I will replace these assets with my singular work.
